  hmm , no the x-poles stand alone pole is 10' or 3 meters………….. you are not interested in the xpert pole? the one without the base? It shouldn't wreck your ceiling, it has silicon stuff on the metal parts…… Are your ceilings fragile?
  I guess your other option would be to get the platinum stages stand alone pole because it is lower… honestly they are a great company and I wouldn't think you would have any problems with the pole….. whew so many choices. I hope I helped and didn't make things more confusing!

  Hey the x pole seems like a great UK option because i'm really interested in the star stand alone because of the lower base and more pole height for my short living room, so was just wondering does the x stage come in a smaller height than 10ft cause that's way too much for living room and would be great to be able to get a stage pole from the UK in case there's any problems

  Hi Daniell, Sorry it has taken me a while to get back to you! The X-pole stage is a great quality free standing dance pole. It is well worth the money you pay for it. However if you want to dance around the room and use the floor space a pole like the X-pole stage doesn't really lend itself to that. But for straight up pole dancing, yes it is a great dance pole!
