THE X-POLE – WE LOVE IT

The X-Pole is a hands down favorite.  We can’t say enough great things about this pole and we have yet to hear a complaint from anyone.  This pole is meant to be worked.  Three great attributes of the x-pole;

1)It will hold your weight even at high velocities unlike some flimsier dance poles

2) X-pole is completely portable

3)X-pole can spin like a real strip pole.  The X-Pole can be both static or adjusted so that it becomes a spinning pole.  This is a true two in one pole.

X-pole and its accessories weigh in at 39 lbs.  It comes with two sporty bags to carry the differently-shaped parts , two longer poles, two bases, two extensions, a tool kit (contains everything you need to put the pole together), a DVD, an instruction manual, and a metal cover for the otherwise-exposed, adjustable top.

Definitely use the DVD to put X-pole together instead of the written booklet.  On the DVD, two instructors put the pole together very simply.  We found the written instructions just complicated what the DVD clearly explained. The DVD also  contains step-by-step instructions on some basic pole/floor moves.

It is very easy to put together as far as dance pole go, but ask a friend for some help. The learning curve is pretty easy and you will be toting your pole around in no time; its construction is very simple.

You can  put the pole in static or spin mode depending on your level.  We even had a couple pros tell us that this pole was exactly like their work pole, except portable.   The grip, the spin type, and the material, are all authentic. This pole is an amazing fitness pole thanks to its durability. You can take pole dancing classes to get started but if live pole dance instruction is not your thing then start with some great pole dvds if you want to learn your pole at home.

We found that it takes about three months on the dancing pole to stop getting bruises on the inner thighs so if you’re looking for a pole that has an easier grip (a “stickier” pole), then consider buying the titanium gold pole.  Chrome is great but you will earn your pole stripes.  Chrome or Titianium is just a personal preference but we have found that almost everyone was very happy with the chrome and didn’t feel the need for the stickier and more expensive Titanium.  If you are very petite and have small hands than you will definitely want to go for the 45mm rather than the 50mm.  Another great attribute is the ceiling height range of this pole from 7 ’4″ – 9″.  There are a lot of poles that start at 8′ ceilings so this is a great advantage to this pole.
