my ceiling is slanted, i am thinking about getting a Lil Mynx dual rotating/stationary pole do you know if i can still install it even if my ceiling horizontal?

  • polequeen

That is a really great choice. The X-pert dance pole is the same awesome quality as the original X-pole but the cool thig is is that it is a bottom loading dance pole. Which means that you will make your adjustments from the bottom of the pole. It is a multi piece pole, it is both static and spinning and it has a an almost 3 meter amount of extra adjustment to fit average ceiling heights…. out here an average ceiling in a home is 8 feet or around 2 and a half meters for you I think. it your ceiling is way higher you can get extensions. But the useable part of the dance pole will remain the same. I hope this helps!

Hi I am new to pole dancing but absolutely love it! I was thinking of purchasing a pole but do not want a permanent fixture one as l woul like it to be portable to bring it home at the weekends. I would also like a pole that spins and has the static option. I agree with you and think the brass pole would smell so I should stick to chrome? I live in Ireland and was reading about the x-pert pole, is there a huge difference between this and the x-pole? Furthermore could you kindly advise on the appropriate height for to support securely against the ceiling or are they standard sizes? Many thanks in advance for your response!
    Best wishes

Hi Frankie, It depends on where you live as to whether or not it would be practical for you to get a permanent dance pole in your house. While it is possible, it may be a bit expensive. I think the Lil Mynx single piece pole with the ceiling bracket attachment should be fine….. it's the type of pole we use for our shows and we haven't had any problems. Just be sure to install it correctly and check the mount periodically.

Hi Dany, That depends on your needs. Although the X-pole makes a very popular dance pole, and you may just want to go with one of their bottom loading 50mm multi piece poles! Just make sure to follow the instructions when installing it in your home and you will have hours of fun!

    hi,

so i have been looking for a pole for a long time but i am skeptical to buy one after seeing videos of the poles just falling. I want a pole that spins and is static as well. It does not have to be removable. I don't plan on moving it. I mainly use it for exercise and tricks. I need it to hold me and not fall.
    thanks

hi!, i'm interested in buying a dance pole, im receiving classes but i want one so i can practisse at home, wich one would yo recomend?
    thank you!

I am sorry, but I am not familiar with that dance pole. I think it might be one of the dance poles that is mainly built for light play. If you want to be able to do climbing and inverting safely you should invest in a pole by one of the main dance pole manufacturers…… X-pole, LilMynx, Hardcore poles, or Platinum stages…. our website pole-reviews.com can link you to all except Hardcore poles…
    Good luck! keep on spinning

    Hi Adri,
Yes that is an excellent choice for you! Take care when you install your dance pole.Be sure that the top piece is against a ceiling joist..(follow your instructions that will be with included) It will be safe for climbing, flipping and spinning. Please take care when doing the spinning movements, easy spinning is fine but crazy lateral stress may cause your pole to pull free. Check periodically the tension and strength of your mount.
    Have fun, keep on spinning

    Hi,
I have a Private Dancer Pole Kit by Topco Sales. It does not stay in place or seems sturdy. I bought it from a Sex shop. I want to climb and spin around. Help!

  • Makeupbyady

My main concern is that I want a removable pole that is safe to actually do moves (climbing, spinning) on. I was thinking of getting the sport X pole sport. It sounds like it might be best for me, Especially since it is the same price of the Kendra pole, but it is 50mm instead of 45mm. Your thoughts? Thanks for all of your help!

    Hi Adri,
I think you are right to return that dance pole…. as far as which pole to get now…. what are your main criteria? Do you want a multi piece pole? I think the kendra is an awesome pole, but it is a small hand size 45mm. The othe x-pole might be a better fit for you as it comes in a 5omm diameter with the bottom loading option, which makes it super easy to install by yourself!!
Have fun, and keep on spinning!

    Hi Ada,
That is a really cool dance pole! I would go with the stainless steel. The grips seem similar to me on both types of pole…. I personally don't like the way the brass smells although other people don't agree with me.
Thanks for visiting our site, and keep on spinning,

Hi Kim! By all means you should get yourself a rotating dance pole…. there are a few out there that we like. X-pole, Platinum Stages, Lil Mynx, and Hardcore poles all make fantastic dance poles that spin!! good luck, and keep on spinning, Deb

Hi, unfortunately I am not familiar with a lil sexy pole? I am wondering if you mean Lil Mynx? Who is it manufactured by? Please write back and let me know. Usually if your dance pole was at least $200 new it is one of the good ones, and yes it will hold you weight providing you are not over 240 lbs.
    Hope this helps!
    cheers, Deb

I bought the Carmen Electra Pole but as soon as I did any tricks it lost it’s tension :( I am returning it and am considering buying a Kendra Pole or the other X pole that is similar. Any advice would be much appreciated!! Those seem stronger than the ‘Lil Mynx.
Will I be able to spin and go upsidedown on a removable pole? I weigh 140.
    Thanks girls!

Hi,my name is Ada from Italy. I own a spinning X-Pole Xpert Chrome of 45 mm (1.75 inch) diameter.
I wanna buy the stage and the best that fits my needs is the NEW Star Stand Alone Pole, for the height of the stage that allows more work on the floor.
The only doubt is between the stainless steel 1.75 inch or the brass one for which at the moment extension are not avalaible. What’s the best for the grip?
Thanks so much,Your advice are precious!
