Although this is a sad story I thank you for sharing it with us!! Did you return it because you found it too slippery? I know when I dance on the 45mm poles I have a difficult time gripping too. :(

I did not like the star stand alone pole at all. One of the stage pieces wouldn’t go on right at all and the welding job was very bad. My friend who’s a welder had to fix it for me! U think they would put it together and check it before they sent it out! I am some what of an experienced pole dancer and this pole was too slippery! I was very disappointed. No matter what I did it was very difficult to stick to it. Idk if it was because I got the 45mm or what and There was also no carrying case available to buy and I could see why. You would need two or three big suitcases to move this thing! so its not very portable at all. Customer service isn’t that good either, they only have two people who answer the phone. In the end I ended up returning it and lost a lot of money. They wouldn’t refund the shipping cost which was $150 and I had to pay out of my pocket to ship it back another $125. They charged me a 10% restocking fee too. I ended up waiting like 3 months to finally get my money back too. I called and called every week and they kept telling me to wait and that should arrive in the mail anytime. I don’t think they ever sent the check in the first place then Finally they sent the payment through paypal. After all this I’m never buying a pole from them again, I’m sticking with the xpole.
