    Hi Angela,
Check out the Lil Mynx one piece rotator…. it is a removeable dance pole, but it does get a small piece attached to the ceiling and that's what keeps it super sturdy… this pole is well under your budget.
If you want a multi piece dance pole check out the x-pole xpert. It is a bottom loading tension mounted pole. also a really great pole. Take extra time each time you use whatever pole you get to check that it is stable before you start any pole dance session!
Have a great time, and keep on spinning!

Want to buy a pole that can spin or be stationary too. I can spend up to $400.00 on it or less if I can get a sturdy pole for cheaper. HELP…I am anxcious to get started soon!

Hi Francesca, The Star stand alone dance pole should be a great option for you! It will fit in your house because the base is only 2 1/2 or 3 inches and the useable part of the pole is right under your ceiling height.
Why were you unsure now? I have played on a couple of stand alone dance poles, but not this type in particular. I wish I had one to put outside actually!
If your main reason is not wanting to drill into your ceiling, or possibly damage it in any way then I think the star stand alone is a great way to go!
Have fun, and keep on spinning!

I'm also looking to buy a pole, I also have 8ft ceilings and carpet however I'm not willing to make holes in the ceiling and can afford to spend around £500 ($800) (including shipping to the uk) I was leaning very strongly towards the star stand alone but am unsure now. I'll be using the pole for fitness but nothing too aggressive. can you help me at all with any suggestions?? =/ x

The Lil Mynx pole in powder coated black is a great option. The price is reasonable and it is suited for light as well as more aggressive play! There aren't any other dance poles that are in the lower price range that I would recommend. Aside from perhaps a used one from a reliable source?
    Have fun! Keep on spinning..

Iam looking to buy a dance pole, i have 8ft ceilings and it will be put over carpet. Adding a hole to the ceiling is no problem for stability. I have done a little research and cant really decide. Its more for play then fitness and honestly like the powder coated black poles the best. Problem is i dont want to break the bank and spend more then $200. Im sure you know of more poles then the ones listed on your site, your help is much appreciated. Thank you.
